Prince Charming Poem by Oscar Munir

Prince Charming

PRINCE CHARMING

A handsome and medium  height man of noble character is all she wanted,
She watched all her friends and colleagues get married,
All their weddings she attended and for some she was the bridesmaid,
Some married their best friends and others were strangers,
'But where is mine? ' She kept on asking God.

She was a beautiful and fine lady that was with no doubt,
Her voice was euphonious and hypnotising to both the young and old,
Her eyes were lustrous and her hair was gorgeous,
Like a queen or princess she wore expensive jewellery and elegant clothes,
She was a woman of noble character but alas, a man to wed her she still couldn't find.

Years and years passed and her dream to become a Mrs. Somebody began to faint and,
A glimmer of hope to meet her prince charming some day is all she remained with,
A man of noble a character just like hers is all she yearned for but the wait was taking forever she was so worried,
A horse neighed from outside and in her window she looked,
A handsome young man, matching all her likes sat on a white stallion from a short distance.

He had well combed hair as brown as a bear,
Dressed in refined clothes and his size was quite majestic as well,
Was he more than what she bargained for?
She opened her window but her beauty is something the passerby couldn't ignore so he advanced,
It was love at first sight and the two shortly married.
