Pride And Prejudice Poem by Krystyn Maynard

Pride And Prejudice

Rating: 5.0

I glanced at the book, leather
bound and worn,
White pages before me,
characters reborn.

Elizabeth, sharp and smart.
Her words cut like a sword.
Darcy, honest and proud,
Looks down, never bored.

Jane, gentle as a feather,
Charles, wealthy and kind.
Mr. Bennet, sarcastic,
Marriage always on his mind.

Lydia, gossiping and wild,
Marries a Wickman man.
Charlotte, seeking comfort,
Changes her life plan.

I've never read the book or seen any of the movies but you do a wonderful job telling the story and make it compelling. Excellent job.
