Once one perches with stars, he/she is sure to fall. Nice write.

One who with a self assigned position among the stars will definitely lose her original status and will have to remain homeless

A great and beautifully written poem on pride, less is more and clearly demonstrated. Thank you Rose Marie for sharing your poetry gift. Five stars and more than worthy of them. Thanks again and take care.

Pride is something like a big boulder that seats us in a high pedestal. But Alas! when it falls, it crashes with a thud rendering us totally helpless and homeless. Most profound and intelligent poem that all of us should ponder deeply. Thank you dear Rose.....Many stars!

Pride goes before a fall! From the pinnacle of glory while she shone like a star, she was pulled down to the deep depths of poverty! A proud person alienates himself/ herself from the peers and leads a secluded life. This self conceit leads to a down fall for the very same reason. A bitter truth is given beautiful poetic expression!

Her pride made her live in exile and be homeless..... must come to the conclusion that she was not loved by her family Or, so much pride she had that she cannot stand the humiliatings she had undergone How saddest moment is this for this homeless woman, living in excile and homeless. 5 Stars for this brilliant poem. The great poetess makes us think about the noun Pride. NL has many homeless people, but they are all well cared by the government

Pride takes us to lofty locations, pride sequesters us from peers and makes us live lonely. An excellent poem that deserves full marks,5/5 from me. I was impressed by the most economic use of words to portray a complete scenario.
