The price of Love is to Forgive.
Forgive yourself and those who have wronged you,
Be ready to go down for others to be right,
It doesn't matter who said this or did that,
People will criticise, make mockery and accuse you falsely,
Others will stab you with their words and actions at your back,
But try to forgive them in advance and let God avenge and vindicate you.
Learn to be the peacemaker!

The price of Love is to Understand.
It is to empathize with the other person,
To accept and enjoy people with their quirks, flaws and inadequacies.
Never try to squeeze people to be what you want but against their will.
Learn to give people a chance!


The price of Love is to Respect!
Honour everyone that comes your way,
Show reverence and check your attitude towards people,
Behave well even when others are rude,
For the depth of your attitude determines the height of your altitude.
Learn the use of please, thank you and I'm sorry!

The price of Love is to Serve.
Lend a hand to your next door neighbour,
Assist that colleague with his task,
Serve those who come your way whether young or old, rich or poor,
Your hard work will now will pay off tomorrow.
Learn to be diligent and work as unto the Lord!

The price of Love is to Defend!
To stand up for the disadvantaged
Cover those who are humiliated,
And speak up for the discouraged,
For you do not know who you'll help you tomorrow.
Learn to shield and take care of the oppressed!

The price of Love is to Share.
Share what you have with others,
Be it knowledge, money, food, clothing or your time,
Put a smile on somebody's face by fixing a need,
Let someone one go to bed thanking God for you.
Learn to be part of the solution!

The price of Love is to be Patient!
Take time for people,
Not everyone may be smart, sharp or skillful as you,
Give them room to make mistakes and to learn and grow from them.
Learn to allow people to be the best of themselves!

The price of Love is to Pray!
Say a prayer for those in difficulties,
For those on the streets,
For those in the prison cells,
For those in critical health conditions,
For those plotting evil and destruction,
For everyone that comes to mind,
Learn to let your prayers turn lives to God!
