Thoughtful poem on living in present. Do you mean to tell past never haunt one? If a child had scary past, will it not fear everyone in present. A person who had burnt down his hands, will feel the same burnt even in present, that's why he will keep each steps cautiously. The scars will often remind him of his mistakes or wounds of past. I loved the way you presented the poem. As it is telling past should never haunt present. Think the present to be something new....One should move forward forgetting past. I agree those who are successful they have done it. Still past leave some deep scars, though it may look hidden, but may lay hidden in surface. I feel it this way. May be I am wrong..Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing.
