'Daybreak: monsoon clouds thicken, sail across the sky, darkening its blue expanse, blotting out the eastern glow.' exquisite and the humanity of 'Across the road a footpath dweller in deep slumber opens his half-asleep eyes from the sunken sockets, as rain drops fall on the unshaven face, tattered dress; rain brings to him no respite, only despair for a shelter.' these are poems which need to be written and read
