Precious Memories

Dying suddenly, husband, father
Family rock in stormy weather
Navigator in good and bad times.
Children and grandchildren.

Many years pass still she grieves
Laying place for him at dinner table
Empty chair with photo on mantelpiece
Ever grateful they were husband and wife.
