This is one I've not seen before, a poem from my once 'old friend' who so often has written fine poems about love, never having been loved, or lost love. Yes, give Death 'its due', whatever THAT is. ***** with best wishes always, bri : )

Nice one, Lora. A cleverly crafted piece, the rhythm and rhyming make this poem so easy to read. Defiantly mocking The Grim Reaper. You've certainly put him in his place, for the time being. Brought to mind one of Dylan Thomas' lines................ Rage, rage, rage against the dying of the light. Well done Lora.
