Prayer To Our Lady Of Paphos CONGRATULATIONS to the family of SAPPHO for this most beautiful Honour, to have won an updated Prize The CLASSIC Poem Of The Day today Wednesday 26 February 2020. As most of her amazing poems, the theme is oft about and for and to The Goddess of Love Aphrodite. I always enjoy her poems. The Great Poetess lives from 630 - 575 BC. She died when she was 55 years old.

`love, although unwillingly...'' If ever - - come now! Relieve this intolerable pain! ... beautifully expressed about love; so love comes unexpectedly to the painful heart then let it allow to relieve the intolerable pain///
