Pray For The Convergence Poem by Nyx C Styx

Pray For The Convergence

Pray that the road does not diverge
For if you take right and I take left
We will never meet

Pray that the mountains crumble
For my love for you has made me frail
to frail to climb its top to meet you

Pray that the Sun and Moon collide
so their eternal chase would end
and their axis's become singular and loving

Pray that the letters transcend to words
and these words to a voice that whispers into the wind
'I love you'
Instead of here on paper

For on this paper, those words would fly momentarily
then saunter downwards to the ground
But by voice, they will be lifted
into the wind
around the axis of the stars
around the mountain tops

to reach you still
if you took right and I left on the road that diverged
