I wanted to make the reader uneasy and then spooked---it seems I succeeded with you, M.J. which makes my day, my friend!

Your absolutely suspenseful poem stars off on a humorous note making me smile. And then switches to Predator... making me sit on the edge of my seat. I almost fell off by the time I reached the end. Thoroughly entertaining! Loved every line! at

I tried hard to give the readers a very uncomfortable-looking-over-the-shoulder read! ! ! I do hope the dread faded away, my dear friend--I would not want to harm your day in any way

The depiction of the predator and prey are so vivid. I feel like I am watching a movie, giving me that heightened feelings of suspense and fear. To my Poem List.

A magnificent poem so well crafted. It expresses in brilliant detail the evilness and darkness of the mind and thoughts of the Predator and the utter innocence of the prey.

I tried to put myself in both roles and feel the personality of both--I wanted to stimulate shivers of fear and distaste for the predator and a sense of fellowship with the prey--thank you for reading this, my dear Bharati

The human and poetic attitude towards all the victims gives high value to this poem and the weak creature here is nothing but a symbol of every weak victim in the unjust world, I do not know how to thank Susan for her beautiful and enriching poems 5/5

My dear Soran--I am so relieved that you enjoyed the journey through this dark world of predator and prey-- it is a tragedy that this predator also attacks victims on a social level as well

Dr. Dillip---I am so glad the threatening darkness of this poem didn't turn you away--I really tried hard to be the most terrifying predator of them all! Thank you for 5 starring it! !
