Praise God I Was Led Poem by Gary James Smith

Praise God I Was Led

Praise God I Was Led

Praise God I was led to Calvary
And there I found relief
My sins were a heavy burden on me
But became weightless upon belief
He became my sin bearer
He who knew no sin
And unbelievably offers forgiveness
When we place our trust in Him

Jesus paid it all
For every single one
How precious is that blood
Shed by Christ the Son
And still that fountain is flowing
There's room at the Cross for you
Come.... repent... and be set free
You'll enjoy Salvation too!

My Redeemer lives hallelujah
What rejoicing in that name
When they sought Him.... An empty tomb!
What a message to proclaim
The thought of death a shallow memory
We are saved by grace through faith... praise God
He is alive! He has arisen!
Behold Him! The Written and Living Word!
