Praise God I Have An Advocate

Praise God I have an Advocate
Who went to bat for me
For when my sin was piling up
He offered grace! .. For free!
I only had to receive it
I repented when I heard
Now safe am I in His arms
For I've trusted in His Word

Now what great companionship
Have my God and I
What I'm lacking in my life
He is quick to supply
O the wonder of God's grace
How can it be described
But to be felt inside a life
For whom Lord Jesus died

Make quick my heart to rearrange
My thoughts towards that One
Who deemed my life so precious
He gave His only begotten Son
Worthy to be praised? ...He is!
I know at the courts of Heaven
I have a blessed Advocate
Who'll prove I've been forgiven!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
