In childhood I had always prayed almighty As the parent were poor and faced poverty We were hand to mouth and had no other means I too was weak and very lean and thin As luck would have it and I acted “Free lunch, dinner and salary as expected” The prayer was for very limited object As financial condition was occupying mind in fact It is child’s dream And is always heard by Him I was surely heard and rewarded Some years later I was really ordered to join Air force The service condition were same Free housing, boarding and salary naturally came The armed forces offer favorable service conditions Even though strict rules exist but offer free ration I look back and wonder about implications What was I expecting from God when asked many things in relation? It had no consideration whosoever but had one thing in mind I was so desperate but had enough of religious trust in kind The defense service gave me an opportunity To serve motherland with sense of unity Country was to be protected at all the costs The same thought remained in uppermost mind Yes, sincere wishes are definitely materialized If one goes after without being mesmerized It is strong belief and faith that guides destiny Just trust in him as he is the only one powerful entity
