Poverty is a crucial issue in many countries including India. But India is a country with many rich Indians too. Farmer class is a neglected class. You are right, Ram! money should not be wasted on frivolous activities like excessive celebrations. When the need to support the poor comes, people who can easily afford should come forward to give a helping hand. Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts through this poem. It's a fact that farmers in developing and under developed countries live in very miserable financial conditions due to a number of reasons. The poem throws light on the plight of such marginal farmers. A great write, thought provoking and educative too. Thanks for sharing.10+ points.
