Poverty
When poverty chases you
Like your own shadow,
Pain and grief embrace you
Like your twin brothers.
You are enforced to think, then,
You were born here
Just to live and suffer.
The philosophy of your life
Rotates around misery.
What you earn
Always remains not sufficient
Enough to sustain you family.
Disaster, misfortune and disease
Turn boundary of your courtyard.
You get trapped inside
Cyclones of
Adversity and atrocity.
