Porter Poem by Kourush Zarerameshti

Porter

Rating: 4.0

Sunset
Within the room's corner,
Three souls entwined,
Moon and stars adorned,
Gazing upon the western horizon,
Their eyes, a cascade of farewell's tears.

Dawn
By the hallway's window,
Three figures intertwined,
Moon and stars aglow,
Fixated on the eastern expanse,
Their eyes, dewdrops of anticipation's gleam.

Alas, lament befalls us!
Sun of those celestial beings,
Lady Moon's radiant beam,
Before its ascent o'er mountain's crest,
With a fardel filled with luminosity,
In the grasp of an unfamiliar arrow,
Never to rise again,
Never to return.

Today
In life's window's nook,
Three souls intertwined,
Moon and stars aligned,
Through parting, grief, and the innocent sun,
As they fade away, silence and serenity descend.
