I thought it was a worthy and sincere tribute without a sappy word anywhere. The words were carefully chosen to achieve the right tone. These kinds of things are hard to write and easy to mess up. You did a wonderful job. GW62

I was able to touched his cloak when he visited our country many many years ago, and i was one of those people blessed by him after the mass in close encounter.Seeing him passed by our assigned place made us cry.I can see his sincerity and pure of heart, making me aware of all my transgressions and failure. He is the servant of all servant. This is a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to a good shepherd who made his sheep come back when they went astray and lost. Thank you so much for the sharing. You made me feel small reading this.

I was in Rome in 1979 and saw POPE JOHN PAUL 11 when he returned from Poland. I was in the army in Germany at the time. The square was full and the energy was euphoric, for his showing at the window upon the square. All around VIVA LA POPA - VIVA LA POPA
