At Veeraiyah, I wanted to celebrated the memories a good man, who strove to make the world a better place for all. Pope John P. II made great sacrifices to be the honorable leader that he was - even forgiving the would-be assassin that sought to take his life. And (having died in April 2005) , truly, he deserves to be remembered. And thanks for your valued input.

What made you to post this poem all of a sudden? He was instrumental for the eradication of communism in his Native land Poland.

John Paul II was a pope that deserves this wonderful poem. I agree with you that his demise was a loss to the church.
