Pope Benedict Xvi - Rest In Heavenly Bliss

Piousness comes to those who are destined
to be holier and devout than others
as spirituality makes them loyal to their mission
and asks them to go and explore
the fields of religiousness and sacredness
so that they gain a yard full of blessedness.

Pope Benedict XVI chose to become a priest
and from a priest he became a bishop;
and until he became a Pope
he worked many hours
and walked many miles of his life
serving the Lord, the people
and the Catholic faith
with dedication to his mission.

And as years kept changing the sunshine
and as the sunshine kept changing the years,
the rays that shone, cast a light upon him
and made him a lamp of love and holiness;
he preached the bible and its scriptures ardently
as it was an inner voice that promoted
a connectivity to embolden and encourage
the catholic faith and its followers.
he led others to stand united in worship
he led others to praise and pray to God fervently;
he empowered morality and purity so vividly.

Such was the identity of Pope Benedict
who dedicated his life to serve the Lord
and in his journey of reverence he ventured
to enlighten people that devotion can do wonders
to one's own existence and to those of others;
with every word and every thought
he spoke and wrote,
he preached and orated,
he left behind a beautiful legacy
which will remain engraved in those books
of theology and truthfulness.

And having achieved and completed
his honorable task of serving the Lord
with ethical and religious adherence,
even heaven feel proud to open its gates
and let in a weary but a loyal soul
to rest in eternal peace as in the finale of life
every heart derives its own reward
which is celestial bliss granted to those
who love God most reverently;
and that was what was expressed
by Pope Benedict as he said 'Lord, I love You'
and those were his last words
before he departed from this world.
