Sad but true. I parted ways with politics quite a few years ago. All we really do is vote for people, and the elected officials don't seem to make much of a difference do they? . So your harsh imagery is valid, maybe not deserved by all of them, but still valid for the field of politics. Having written they just spread mud everywhere doesn't leave any space for a second act either. This one poem closes the door on the subject of politics.
