Paul, I like the last line. My problem is there doesn't seem to be much reason for writing this as a poem, that is, organizing it by line and stanza. The language isn't intense enough or imagistic enough to benefit from form.
Words like wellbeing, system, talent, positive, etc. are so abstract, the poem simply tells without engaging the reader. You might benefit from reading some good contemporary poetry like Philip Levine's, which is plain but employs intensely

MMM - I have a friend who dislikes poetry and I keep telling him, But not all my poems ARE poetry! Maybe he might read This one lol. (But will he read Anything? ? ?) . I class poems like this as Ideas Poems as I don't go for being lyrical or anything when typing them. Writing in free verse just suits me in my elderly laziness. Will check out Philip Levine though for pointers, plus of course your website.
