Poked Each Other With A Stick Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Poked Each Other With A Stick

Enhancing this mental illness,
These fingers have a habit of remembering too well the last two decades
The emotional turmoil doubles twice,
Like a foursome in golf without the putz
Combining faces, we invented a much different head than before
Poked each other with a stick, another example of trial & error
Finding out that we were human after all
Remembering the last time we were happy,
Although our friends thought we were rather unwell
Perfidy was the ultimate weakness,
This past two decades have healed things a bit, given us a thicker blanket to diminish our destructive tendencies,
So nowadays we feel warmer in temperament and much more comfortable in general
