Does poetry pump up politics?
Or politics trumps up poetics?
Interesting question, I think a poet is galvanized into action by what they are impassioned by, if they feel their is something wrong or want to right something they do it by writing. A political poet is one fueled by a desire to try and make change, to influence and create dialogue.
