Sometimes, what appears to be illusion...is in fact...reality. As had been personally witnessed by a master of illusion...the great Doug Henning!

Sensational and unforgettable effect of a time of excellence and dreamers, long gone, forever.

Sadly, those times are gone...but they live in our memories! THX so much, my friend, for letting me relive some of those memories!

Fascinating take on this poem...and I totally agree with you! I'll take Hepburn and Bogart any single day!

Once, I saw superstar magician Doug Henning. He reassured the audience that he had personally witnessed some people levitating...without magical props or illusion! LeeAnn, I greatly appreciate your enthusiastic response!

Very rightly said. Poets often try to sugarcoat bitter reality. In fact poetry can be a good escape from the mundane existence.

Yes, indeed, Nosheen! Poetry can provide a great escape. And at the same time, poetry can be very therapeutic! As always, your comments are very insightful and positive...just like your beautiful poetry.
