Poetry Poetry
I m learning fast
Not like in the past
When i went to school
Where they turned me into a fool
Learning trigonometry
Something so elementary
What i m learning now is profound
Knowledge properly formed
I now know there is poetry
Then there is Poetry
Don't ask me the difference
But by inference
A poet is one who writes poetry
Poesy will make you write Poetry
Who feels it knows it
No confusion even one bit.
If you know you know
If you don't know you know not.
Much like in wave theory
Small waves moving freely
Two in phase can enhance their amplitude
As a scribe can reinforce an attitude
When poesy lines up with poetry
Then poetry becomes Poetry
Resonance
Sans dissonance
Words line up perfectly to birth an image so clear
And you think, Oh dear
Someone is reaching a climax
Like a B 737 Max climbing to the max.
Reaching a stall angle
The scribe is getting entangled
In words you think will crash
Words which you think are trash
Little do you realise the point has been reached
The point of epiphany breached
Poetry becoming Poetry
Not just poetry.
And when a discerning reader reads
The poem is indeed
A pure work of art
A Poetry apart.
How many, though, reach such levels
Hair dishevelled
Smoking a joint
Or smoking a pipe is not the point
History shows
Every one now knows
Great poets reached these levels of perfection
These degrees of reflection
Upon imbibing in natural mystics
Either smoking sticks
Or pipes
It's alike
The effect is the same
Though we give the same name
When you read poetry
It's different than Poetry
It's either poetry Poetry
Or poetry poetry.
