Poetry Piranha
Time to test poetry waters,
Dip my pen in a little bit.
See if any piranha poet bites,
To reveal a poetry hypocrite.
There are more than one,
In fact there's a large school.
Harping on about huge rankings,
Really minnows in an ego pool.
Oh they love a feeding frenzy,
Comments shared to discover.
Just read between their li(n) es,
As they feed off one another.
For it's time to go a'fishing,
Hypocrite huge rankings they advocate.
Full of superego self importance,
Cheats trying to dominate and subjugate.
Poetry piranha! Nice allegorical writings Nowadays in this literary site rowdyism of these piranhas are much....it's truly harmful for the beginners, practice true poem....

Hi Shaun...well put...well put indeed! Nevertheless, the best thing is to completely ignore them, as their opinions are of no consequence at all in the grand scheme of things. These tinpot poetry dictators have no real influence anyway. How many of them are published outside of this site? Not many I reckon. I take it all in my stride with a pinch of salt. Anyway, it's a Top of the Pops ten from me!
