Poetry Leper Poem by Shaun Cronick

Poetry Leper

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes it's hard to write any poetry,
When you mind is simply not in The Zone.
Often ideas so constantly swarm upon you,
Other times you're treated a leper left alone.

And sure enough the process starts again,
Oh how those creative juices quickly flow.
Ideas and themes suddenly fill your mind,
And you write them all down row after row.

Its true! to have ideas but not the words or the words or the ideas, or your thoughts are a fog where nothing permeates. Without the words we are all Lepers in a mute world. Great poem Shaun.

Thank you Kevin for your spot on comment. It's always one or the other, trying to grasp something tantalising out of reach. Sometimes you're lucky many times you're not, if truth be told. Thanks again and stay well and healthy man.
