i love your conclusion that poetry is spiritual satisfaction. Certainly not all of our poems can attain this level but that's OK because the issue is POETRY and not each and every poem. Sometimes we have to write a lot of lesser poems to prepare for the one which reaches the heights of spiritual satisfaction. It's an issue of awareness and commitment.
