A very good take on the art of poetry writing. You have summed it up in easy to relate to terms. Simple, sweet and enjoyable.
I have no choice but to keep it simple hahaha: -) You'll see if you dropp by!
I love this poem, it tell much more of my plight in poetry. Nice one Joseph.
Keeping yourself at a peak of your own is an endearing trait in you Mr Anderson. Your poetry is bereft of any tools abused otherwise. Keep writing sir and if possible share your reminiscences of the disillusioned world between 1939 and 1945 as well. Thanks a lot...
So good, so true Joseph; I'm a big fan of The Hag, have been for at least 35 years! Simply a wonderful poetic tribute to such a great poet, from such a great poet. Your words move me.
Oh, how I feel one with your thoughts! Poems should be simple and rhyming for the common man to understand and enjoy! I enjoyed reading your poem! Excellent! !
Completely agree with you. Let us express our ideas clearly with some good images inside and I like if possible to make it rhyme as well. Perhaps the more difficult part for myself is the rhyme. Your rhymes are very well chosen. I like this poem very much Excellent
Although at times I write a bit obscure a direct message always sits much truer and finds a chord with every viewer, it does not always have the rhyme but doesn't hurt if creative and fine and if not writing for the critics blind, but for the joy of conveying beauty and understanding to the mind.
Right on Joe, Merle is the man. Love it. He read others words you know and sung them too.
Wonderful poetry Sir, such a beautiful flow, your muse is already brilliant and a joy to read, .
You’ve spoken my sentiments. Love this piece of a gem. You’re messages are quite clear and readily received Joseph. It's always a pleasure to visit. Great work. Keep it up.
Your muse serves you well Joseph, your poetry is wonderful and not just for the common man but for all. Very well penned. If you haven't already, you may like to read mine entitled ....... On Poetry, similar sentiment.
