Poetry is really ubiquitous in nature,
Present in plenty in every nook and corner,
Just we need to be a little sensitive to see and listen
To relish the pleasure so soothing and sublime!
Poetry is there in the rising sun
That splashes the morning sky with hue crimson,
Poetry you can see in the flowers in full bloom
That sway and swing to dispel our gloom
You can hear poetry in the bird's twittering
That flies across the sky flapping its wings,
Poetry you can hear in the noon of summer
When lonely leaves tirelessly chat with one another,
Poetry is there in the baby's babbling
Though meaningless, a fountain of joys unending,
Poetry reverberates in the village air
With farmer's song when he goes to work or return to retire,
Poetry you can see in the moon and stars
That glide gracefully in the blue sky afar,
Poetry is there in the flowing river
That dances gleefully on rocks without fear,
Poetry is there in the rain falling from heaven
With tinkling anklets to relieve Earth's pain
Poetry you can see in the butterflies and bees
Who suck nectar from flowers with bliss and ease,
Poetry is there in the sweet smile of the sweet heart
That propels the beating of your heart
Poetry you can hear too in the darkest night
When nocturnal howls and heart pounds with fright,
Poetry is there too in misery and poverty
When an emaciated mother in rags feeds her skeletal baby so dirty,
Poetry is really ubiquitous in nature,
Present in plenty in every nook and corner,
Just we need to be a little sensitive to see and listen
To relish the pleasure so soothing and sublime!
