I do agree with all the thoughts you shared about poetry.....! Yes, it should be simple and lucid, should have lyrical quality and arouse emotions in us. Hence it should come from the heart and not from the brain! Your poem exemplifies all these qualities! A sure 10

Dear poet, you are absolutely very right. Your melodic tune of this poem has attracted me to visit this once again. Previously there was no rule. But many have tried to bind this in rule. Exactly poetry is flow of mind and this is gifted by God. I agree hundred percent with you. I love this melodic expression.

Poetry is always a gift from the God, It's God, not me, you should laud. Well said indeed, of course, but it is not as if poetry has nothing to do with head. A poem gets born in the heart, but at some stage the head has to have some place. This one also, being well crafted, the head has for sure contributed as much as the heart.
