Rich is a refreshing realism that is applicable to most poets. Your words have inspired me so once again sing with the birds Well done my friend!
Thank you very much, @Howard 'the motivational poet' Simon, for reading the poem. I too have been inspired by your thoughtful comment. Stay Blessed!
Lovely poem Khairul and yes write about the things you feel passionate about. We are all growing old but Khairul you have a talent.
Thanks for your very kind appreciation, dear poet @Mary Forrester. Much inspired by your thoughtful comment.
There is an oasis in your wilderness, Khairul. You write eloquently about writer's block and, as Valsa says, it's only a transient thing. Liked the imagery of this poem - the river slowing and silting up. Be encouraged!
'Be encouraged! ' - Thank you, @Susy Evelyne, Indded I am encourage by your thoughtful comment, appreciative as always. I am grateful to all the poets who have left words of encouragement and inspiration here. You haven't been writing or rather posting, new poems here, any more, since long. Hope, you'll return soon with new poems.
Thank you very much, dear poet Marvin Brato. This morning I read your wonderful poem written as a tribute to a worthy and well deserving mentor. Best wishes and happy writing! ! ! !
This is a recurring phase in every creative writer's life.... But it is only a transitory 'phenomenon'! Once we are able to express it well, the block is lifted as has happened in your case...! A beautiful poem has evolved! Alas, my river has lost direction. Strips of sandy land are rising up on my bed............ Love these lines!
Thanks for your very inspiring comment, Valsa. I am so glad that you've read this piece of mine and stopped by to leave a kind comment. I'm also inspired by your quoting lines that you loved reading, from my poem. Stay well and Blessed!
A poignant write expressing the undone situation. But Khairul - this phase what we call a bad patch comes in everybody's life, but that does n't mean that you've ended, no... mind my words, you'll come back with double the vigor than where you left very soon.
Thank you, Amitava Sur, for your kind words and compassionate solace. Much inspired by your thoughtful comment.
...............this is very beautiful....I love river poems.....and yes I know the feeling....only when you are passionate about something can you truly write a poem so easily.....
'only when you are passionate about something can you truly write a poem so easily....' - thank you, @Sunprincess, for these so beautiful words! Much inspired by your comment.
Your thoughts are always flowing like a river. You are a great poet. May be you are sad and perhaps you are taking time for writing a great creation. However, my best wishes are always with you. Still the poem is a nice one.
Thank you, dear poetess Ruma Chaudhuri, for your kind and inspiring words. I am encouraged to write better poems by comments like this, which is much appreciated.
Beautiful flow of words once again from your heart, rather I will say. Yes, there are many times, we stop doing the things which we liked the most...Every person has own current and under current. Many times we are stopped by our mind itself. Very true said in your poem.
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on my poem and the elaboration you added here, @Geetha Jayakumar. Much inspired by your thoughtful analysis.
Mr Ahsan, I've always enjoyed reading your poetry. I think we all go through those times when we lack inspiration, I know I'm feeling like that now. Your poem, however doesn't seem to show any signs of stagnation on your part. If anything it was very creative and thoughtful. I enjoyed it immensely!
Very, very inspiring comment from you, dear poetess @beach Girl! I am so much inspired and honored by your kind, thoughtful comment! We haven't seen a new poem of yours at PoemHunter for about five years now. Are you also caught up by some sort of stagnation, or you are just not posting your poems here? My very best wishes to you.... stay hale and hearty!
