Poems I Love (Sonnet #294) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Poems I Love (Sonnet #294)

I love poems infused with deep emotions,
Genuine words that leave imprints on hearts' walls,
Love declarations immersed in devotion
That speak of eternal bond between souls.

Poetry must feed insights, not just minds,
It is an art that lifts the soul on high,
I love verses that let me travel through time
To the Moon, Venus, or Atlantis nigh.

But the poems I treasure most are for you,
They include "tender heart", "O my soulmate"
And play on hearts' thin chords romantic tunes
Such as 'love is divine, a gift from fate'.

Yet, your 'I love you' remains the favourite line
That encompasses poetry of all times.
