Poems Everywhere Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Poems Everywhere

Poems everywhere

My home is a happy home
It is clad in poems all over
On the roof are little birds
Singing sweet sonnets
A discordant raven hops about
Pecking on wriggling worms
to the rhythm of their cawing
Hop skip jump caw caw caw
My cat feigns disinterest
Biding its time to pounce
Ziggy my Maltese is smitten.
Flossy the bitch on heat
The best poetry is in my poultry
The cacophony of mother hens
Tending to their hen chicks
My home is a happy home
The mother of the house, mom
Makes sure there's peace and harmony
Noone, to her family, brings harm on
And, my job is simple enough
To make sure i see poems everywhere.

And i see poems everywhere.
Poems everywhere.
