Thanks, dear poet MB, for this dual feedback. Actually after writing this poem I thought I might get brickbats.

Reader-less poems dressed in bytes, Lonely and bored, fly string-less kites. You are so right. Poem writing will become rewarding only if there are good readers who understand what the poets mean. Moreover poems without readers will be like stringless kites. They will only lie dead. (Unfortunately, I am not in a mood to write or respond to comments as one of my siblings is lying very sick)

Here is one of the few poets whose feedback I value. So nice of you to respond still (despite the problem at home) . May your brother/sister recover from ailment soon enough.

I appreciate and admire your fifth stanza! In fact, a good poem should find a good reader...I think that way! A brilliant poem sir...so nicely drafted....Top score!

'a good poem should find a good reader'. I would like to think so. But I have seen that not quite happening Your comments are still to the point. Many thanks. To me feedback from a few good poets is fine.

Readerless poems....lonly and bored fly like stringless kites. such an apt simily in a great poem. I guess abundance of anything takes some of its significance away. It is always worth writing and sharing as long as a poet has thoughts and enjoys writing.

What a beautiful way of saying this, the cause of readerless poems. But a poetry site need quantity along with quality, volume and value, it is sad, a lump of nuggets of a precious metal has to be mixed with dross. In this dual world the pendulum has to move from one extreme to the other, reality hanging in-between. Thanks for the feedback.

There are so many beautiful poems awaiting readers on this site. Time is what hinders us to read them. An excellent perceptive write. Wonderfully written couplet with great rhyme.

You are right, time is the culprit, and I am quite hopeful that given time time they will get read. And it was this hope that made me change the poem from Poems Sans Readers to Poems Awaiting Readers. Thanks for the feedback.
