Poems And Cakes Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Poems And Cakes

Rating: 5.0

Blame the Muse, the mood or attitude—
None may say my pen's dude,
But pen knows no magic of Mandrake,
Penning a poem's like baking cake:
Some will sure turn no good.

Even proven among poets at times turn out pieces that are forgettable at best. I often wonder if penning poems is like baking cakes—no matter what you do, some will turn out no good, blame the muse, mood, or attitude.
