Poem No: 96. The Face Of My Mind Is Veiled With Darkness Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Poem No: 96. The Face Of My Mind Is Veiled With Darkness

Rating: 5.0

The face of my mind is veiled with darkness.
It's eyes see only the sea of blackness.
Your absence creates a big hole in me
Pang and agony capture it slowly.

My heart does ache with separation's pain
And it cries silently like an orphan.
My senses are almost benumbed and shocked
As if they have drunk vintage or hemlock.

Losing the strength of my mind and feelings
Now I am flying on the wingless wings.
I was very happy in your presence.
Now I'm a soulless soul in your absence.

Listen to me, o my dearest, my love!
Come and shine my mind with the light of love.
