Great tribute to one of the most respected contemporary poets in English literature. Like Dr Martin Luther King Jn, she, too, lent moral strength to those who were left behind in the race for social equality. Through her poetry and through her lectures, she worked tirelessly against racial discrimination and also for asserting the rights of women in the society. Thanks this powerful tribute to Maya Angelou, Dear Geeta ji.
