Poem For Robin Williams Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Poem For Robin Williams

Rating: 5.0

I cried when you had died
Perhaps, 'cause you had lied
You had all of us laughing
In spite of Life's depressing

I cried for your sad childhood
No brother or sisterhood
Only tin soldiers in your company
Many lonely nights in your sympathy

I cried for your lonesomeness
And your life in such a mess
I felt your saddest tears of pain
And the laughter you wished to regain

I cried for your desperate cold nights
Embracing your fears through the fights
My heart went cold when you had died
Knowing that you and we had died

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Robin Williams was one of my all-time favorite comedians. And I liked him just as much, if not more, as a dramatic actor.

As a tribute to him, and to help me deal with such a tragic loss, I wrote this poem.
