Please Don't Awake Me Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Please Don't Awake Me

Please don't awake me
Let me enjoy my dream
Only way left for me
To fill the void of my life is
Nothing other than my own dream.
Let me remain subconscious
To forget who really I am.
Whose dream never comes to true.
A man without any sensation in limbs.
Me lying on corner of room like lifeless log
Without any motion but with
Emptiness, loneliness, fear and tears.
Dream and sleep as gifts of Almighty
Bestowed upon me to enchant my life.
I can not only walk and run but also
Fly above blue sky in my dream.
Me retain ability to wander like clouds
As long as I am not awaken.
My illusion, my dream, my passion
Are spirits that keep me alive.
