Poignant write. Orphans have their own fate to deal with.

What a sad story. My heart goes out to all the children (and adults) abandoned and left out in the rain. I can only hope that God in His mercy dulls their pain. I like the concern and compassion you exhibit in poems of this nature. It says so much about you!

The sight of the boy drenched in rain suddenly brings into you the memory of your childhood when you were amply protected from sun and rain and the contrast of an orphan boy who is wildly exposed to the fury of Nature! You had caring and over protective parents! But the boy knew nothing of the warmth of a family... but the squalour of the streets! ! The dual face of life, poignantly drawn! !
