Amazing observation to write an allegorical poem from sweet memories....great work...10++++

ah, memories! fortunately for me, i have many fond memories of my childhood, though i seldom stop to recall them as i'm still 'active' with today's world around me.............like doing dishes, writing poems, and volunteering. if i am UNfortunate enough to someday be UNable to do those things, i hope my memories of climbing trees, catching frogs (and snakes!) , and helping 'Mom' make cookies, will come flooding into my mind to help me pass my idle hours! ! ! sounds like ingredients for a poem, doesn't it? i just added this poem to Section A of my/our A showcase for PH poets [ October edition ]. a second poem from this poet's hand would be welcome in Section B, which exists and is created to handle the large number of poems contributed my members (in particular, some of my PH friends) this month. Right now it has no poems in it from other members. thanks for sharing. bri :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Little Savita Child Many moons ago in a desert landscape, a little girl, up from Earth, at me did gape. She had long straight black hair (with one curl) . I'd watch her ply** the bricks and sometimes twirl. She smiled at me and my craters would fill.... with warmth from her smiles. That was until... she grew up as human children are apt to do, and off to the United States she quickly flew. But, i still see her at times walking on a path, admiring the flowers and the setting sun. Yes I'm sometimes watching though the sun hath.... not yet set! She looks like she's still having fun. A walk in the moonlit night and the game of hide and seek by moon bringing nostalgic images of childhood to mind, is indeed a fascinating imagery. I Liked it. Thanks.
