Now this is powerful. You have expressed well the dilemmas faced in the world and the conformed, structured mindsets that have laid waste many a country because of greed, power and reputation. The wars continue and mankind continues on the very same path that will ultimately lead to destruction. And does anyone care? It would seem not, since the world continues to spin around even under the dramatic changes made by man...and all creation suffers because of it. I enjoyed the imagery that came forth for me from the words you painted. You have done well in this one. Many blessings to you

I think you are talking about our way of life causing danger to animals who were created by God and not respecting their needs to have a place to run and hide by buildings in their way. farmlands being uprooted. great free verse with good language well written

How we devour and consume not only our resources but in due time one another if we're not careful. This is well written and provocative to the mind. Good job! !

Oh your words may be on the harsh side but oh so true my poetic brother. Mankind through progress is hurting the earth that we live on. Taking away the natural beauty and filling it with toxic waste which permeate the air taking away it's natural inhabitants. We just let it happen, like puppets on a string, pardon the cliche but it's true. The future is bleak, but life goes on such as it is.

I really like the way you are writing poetry to get a thought provoking message across and not dissecting love as most poets seem to do. Progress brings change. Change manifests not only in the loss of nature, but also in the loss of meaningful relationships as well. You have an excellent vocabulary, and you use it with aplomb! Karin Anderson

Great ambience with enough urgency thrown in and in the tradition of 'J'accuse', a timely peace and well crafted. H

What once was can never be brought back again. We must keep the magic of lost traditions and beauty in the landscapes of our minds. Very well written. 10 for you. As always, Sandra

The set is described very well and luckily the author of this poem is one of our best colleagues. 'Life is a poor player' wrote Shakespeare.
