I actually relate to the Moa. Of course it is extinct but so am I.
The poem speaks volume of the human failure to keep the nature free from pollution causing hardship to all the lesser beings. The message is written well in a refined manner and needs the attention of every citizen of the world. Well done Mr. Michael Shepherd.
What about the Weeping Willow? And ducks have been known to feel down.
