The seventeen year old who was over the moon in love with you; belting out love songs behind the wheel of my maroon Chevrolet lumina, and searching the road for your teal green Camaro.You wore the scent of diesel like the finest cologne and every ounce of you screamed sex. My teenage hormones were in overdrive.
But, I loved you with a love deeper than a hormone crush and more than just a passing puppy love.I love(d) you.
The me before no more you, loved you and everyone knew it. I wore your happy in all my smiles and doe eyed daydreams. I painted my toenails pink and I chewed watermelon bubble gum because it was your favorite flavor and I prayed you would taste me.
