We are selective in our choices and does what suits us. Humans are humans irrespective of any other thing (Caste, creed, colour, region and religion)
We all should condemn the killings of innocents be it in Iraq, Afghan, Syria or Ukraine but, sorry to say world is biased.
Afghan, Syria, Ukraine are the present realities. Tibet, Bangladesh, Crimea, Vietnam, Korea are the past.
Wherever, war is a crime on the common man. To be despised. The armies should be dismantled and men to be sent to the agricultural fields, so that they make more food, not graves..
I detest Wars. Hope the world will not be shred to pieces. A poignant poem.......10
War brings nothing positive, nothing of worth to the humanity. It only vitiates the peaceful life. And bolsters the false pride of the dictators.

How far Putin's invasion on Ukraine to demilitarize the country is justified needs to be studied under different lenses.
It is the fear of Russian aggression that has prompted Ukraine to build its military strength. And many other post-soviet republics to seek the security of NATO. IT IS PURE AGGRESSION, with clear intent to annexation. This tendency is to be detested.
I am not a student of history but I have heard about Stalin's dictatorship. Probably he ruled the USSR for the longest period and his sheer autocracy made USSR economically and militarily strong but we have witnessed the breakup of USSR and reasons are many which are not known to us.
A nation making progress under a dictatorship is like a bird imprisoned in a golden cage. The cruelties perpetrated the Stalin's regime on Russian peoples are unimaginable. Progress under such rule is irrelevant.
A beautiful poetic idea to express human greed, why does not everyone live in peace in this short life, epidemics, wars, disasters and crises.... Where is the harmony, solidarity, rationality and perhaps conscience as well, thank you for this precious masterpiece

When it is the ordinary man's peaceful life that a dictator plays with, then everyone needs to lend his hand to stitch it together.

Putin should not be allowed to win! ! The Ukrainian people are so bold resilient that they will win against all odds. This is the time the world needs to support them unitedly, forgetting all short term gains. If Putin wins, democracy fails. The world can not allow that happen.
