Physical
In this world that we live
Our physical form, we give
A vessel for the soul inside
A beautiful body, we cannot hide
With skin stretched tight
And eyes that reflect light
We walk, we run, we dance
Our physicality, our only chance
Strong muscles that flex and strain
A body that endures pain
We push ourselves to the limit
Our physicality, we never quit it
From the curves of a woman's hips
To the strength of a man's grip
Our bodies, a work of art
A masterpiece, each and every part
But it's not just about the shape
Or how gracefully we can move and drape
It's about the scars that we bear
And the stories that we wear
Physical, it's all we see
But what about the heart, the mind, the personality?
For though our bodies may fade
What truly matters, will never degrade
So let us cherish our physical form
But remember, it's just a temporary norm
For it's our inner beauty that will remain
Long after our physicality has waned.
