I am a house cat
 I live in me
 I am I am
 Always I am
 Meow meow
This house is my world
 Perfect in itself
 With what is not here
 Never am I concerned
 Content with myself
 Happily disposed
I am not alone
 When my master is out
 I move about meowing
 Rubbing against things
 My friends in the house
 Brooding saints
He comes and goes
 His movements are unknown
 Makes always sure
 My bowl has good measure
 He knows my likes
 What I should take
 I have no complaints
 Nothing that aches
Fridge in the kitchen
 Hums a tune
 Untiring singer
 Never asleep
 Wind on the panes
 Call me out
 Swaying the woods
 I shan't be seduced
 Legs of the table
 Sage-like stoics
 Always mum
 I nudge them for fun
I have a lot
 To talk to them
 So do I meow
 And move about
My master's movements
 Aren't my worry
 I am content
 Least uncertain
 The keyhole will sound
 To raise my ears
 And he will enter
 Fast in a hurry
To return my meows
 And stroke my head
 To clean my potty
 And call me naughty
My tail will be raised
 My back will peak
 To rub his legs
 And rest by his side
 My eyelids closed
 Immersed in me
 As he broods
 Reads his books
Often we sit
 Watching the TV
 Together for long
 In deep reverie
 Untouched by glitter
 Tears and laughter
 Lost in ourselves
 One in one
There is my ilk
 Out in the woods
 Strayed into wrongs
 Fighting it out
 Running about
 Dying in hordes
 My ears are closed
 To their noisy calls
 I hold my calm
 I am I am
 Always I am
World the temptress
 Calls through the glass
 Pines, oaks and cedars
 Swing in the winds
 Shaking their heads
 Shiver in cold
 Drenched in rain
 Fall in storms
 A place of change
 Birth and death
 A tragic mess
 Where I don't belong
Swarms of moth
 Dance in sunlight
 As they fly
 Over the bushes
 Flashy delights
 That don't remain
 No lasting pleasure
 I am not swayed
The world of men
 Beyond the woods
 Crashes in booms
 And bangs aloud
 A deluded lot
 As they screech
 Along the roads
 Of ego-driven life
 To pangs and pains
 Hopelessly maimed
I live in me
 I am I am
 In my master's sanctuary
 I am I am
 Always I am
 Morrow is never my worry
 Be a house cat
 In the Master's hall
 Grieve you not ever shall
I live in me I am I am In my master's sanctuary I am I am Always I am Good

A sweet poem on a Pussy cat! 'Patches' looks so majestic and contented in her photo! Cats have a very contented and self satisfied look all the time! Very close observation and realistic presentation! Enjoyed!

Legs of the table, sage-like stoics.Slinking and gliding through this poem is an understanding of the creature and his world that only a poet could capture with light philosophy and humor, like the always upturned corners of the perpetually smiling companion. The cool cat my eyelids closed, immersed in me....sublime. The magical simplicity and paradise of an environment of moths and the world temptress calling through the glass...and yet the content creature's universe is complete with a measured bowl in his master's sanctuary. Absolutely brilliant.............
