Farmer has plenty of friends right from earthworms to bullocks but there a twist in the poem that their services are abused.... May be bullocks with overload of work..... Who knows expect the poet. The poet may clarify our doubt... Anyway the poem is awesome to read with its in-depth meaning...

This is again animal abuse. In the Netherlands animals may not be abused, there is a party that prevent these actions. Eventhough a farmer's best friend, but this is in the Philippines. In Indonesia, these animals are working in all hours till they drop dead in some cases. I can still remember Indonesian citizens do not care about these animals. An excellent poem that reveals the animal abuse through services abused.I have become very sad.

A farmer is the person who ploughs the firld and grows food for us. a great tribute to the farmers.
